Warrawurru wurr-alhaga-lharrmani a-lhawumag.

Warrawurru wurru-rigaynji a-lhawumag.

Ba-wilngiynji anaani ana-ngura.
Ngaya ngawu-mandhi ngura.

Ngarragi ngiw-anigaḻiwana ana-ngura ngi-buḏdhi ana-lhawumag.

Nimbiiyn! Nimbiiyn ana-lhawumag!
Yii! Yaani ana-lhawumag. Numburru-nguyii.

Ngii yanni nimbini-nguyii ana-lhawumag.

1	We went by truck, looking for long-yams.
2	The women are searching for long-yams.
3	They are digging up, the long-yams.
4	One lady said: Make the fire here!
	The other lady said: "I’m making the fire properly."
5	This lady is spreading the coals and cooking the yams in the hot sand, ashes and coals.
6	Give me some! Give me some yams OK. Here, well all eat yams together
7	"Here you two! Eat!"
