Ŋanapurru marrtjina guyalili, bala bumara guya raki'yu. Bala ŋanapurru gurtha baṯthun raŋilili guyawu ga maypalwu.

Ŋuliŋurunydja ŋanapurru warrkthun, bala ḻukana guyanydja, bala ŋanapurru goḻlilina roŋiyirri.

Yawungu ŋanapurru marrtji bala ŋaḻwa'yun butpuḻ'yu ga ḻuthu-ḻuthu'yu ga guṉḏayu raŋiŋura wäŋaŋura.

Beŋurunydja ŋanapurru marrtji lilina goḻlilina. Bala ŋanapurru dhäwu'na lakarama Laklakkuna raŋiwuy wäŋawuy.

Yawungu ŋanapurru marrtji bala näku' lili. Bala ŋanapurru gulkthun ṉäku' ŋunhala Balŋuma, bala ŋanapurru bathan ṉäku' gurthalili, bala muŋdhuna guṉḏayunna.

Beŋurunydja ŋanapurru gämana ṉäkuny'tja goḻlilina, bala djämana ṉäkuny'tja goḻŋurana.

Story about going out fishing, and other stories
This story was told by the Yrl children, who attend the Yirrkala school, the text was written by their teacher.
The children with their teachers went out fishing and to play with balls, shells and with small rocks. Also they went out to get some stringy bark for painting, and Yrl children told the stories when they went to school in the follow days:-
1.	We all went out fishing
2.	At the place we cooked the fish then ate it.
	After that we went back to school.
3.	Yesterday we went to the beach to play with balls shells, and with a small rocks.
4.	Then we all went back to the school and told Laklak the stories about the beach.
5.	Yesterday we all went out to get some stringy bark at Balnguma Road.
6.	Then we took the stringy bark to the school and at the school we were doing the barkpainting.
