Wati Panya Kata Kutju
Watji kutjarapula pitjala kuka maḻu nyanguo.

Kapula wakaṉu katingu ngurakutu. Ka waṟu kutjaṉu ka ngalkuṉu.

Watipula karungka puringka nyinanyi ka wati tjṯangku mungangkangka pitjala kulḻaṯatjarangku kutjara nyinanytjala walunyangu. 

Ka katangku watjaṉu. "Wati tjuta ngaangku pitjala ngaṟala kuḻpangu.

The Man Without a Body and Only a Head 
(A True Story) 
Two young men came hunting and they saw a kangaroo, so they speared it. 
The kangaroo was speared and the two men went away to make a camp in the creek. 

And suddenly, they saw a head inside a hole and they picked it up and took it to the creek.
And the head said "There are a lot of men coming to kill us!"
