Abstract Using continuous-time random walks we have computed the decay probability of an initially excited impurity and extended our previous work to the long-time regime. The ingredients are Weierstrass waiting-time distributions and power-law randomwalk forms. The results corroborate the analytic predictions of scaling at long times, and include crossover effects.
