Description Surgery in progress at Darwin Hospital, Northern Territory, early in 1950s. Surgeon on left Mr Gordon Birks, Sister on left Sr Lissaman others unknown. (it was for real) Note white theatre gowns with (red) cross. Uniforms left over from WW11.
