Abstract This report aims to assess the monetary value of major tangible and intangible services from an indigenous owned communal property, Fish River Station (FRS), which supports local and Aboriginal communities for a range of socio-cultural and ecological benefits. Our purpose is not to imply exact $ figures for ecosystem services (ES) but to provide an overall assessment of their total value to assist policy decisions on future planning and sustainable management over the long-term for the benefits of the local and wider Australian community.
