Abstract Technology facilitated the implementation of teacher professional learning based on a design of principles to improve the teaching of Cultural Mathematics in elementary schools in Papua New Guinea. An offline ‘website’, a set of interlinked resource materials was used in workshops to enhance the professional learning. Appropriate and relevant content was needed together with consideration of the teachers’ backgrounds.
